Most commissions usually begin with a discussion on initial ideas and form - for example, whether the commission is for a piece of free-standing art, something that can be hung on a wall, or a piece of glass art for the garden etc., the colours and style that would be most suitable and the desired timescale. Following this no-obligation initial discussion, design options, ideas and cost indications are discussed, before a decision is made.
Special commission prices are dependent on the size, colours and complexity of each piece, but here are some examples of previous commissions and indicative prices:
- A custom made birthday flower bowl with a hand-painted personalised message £30
- A custom design large wedding lantern, with the wedding date and names of the happy couple £50
